Hello. My name is Carrie Weldon. I am THE CONNECTOR.
What do I do?
In short, I connect good people with good contractors.
I started THE CONNECTOR because my attempts at finding a reliable contractor through a certain well-known national site was a nightmare; poor communication, poor contractor references and a whole lot of no-shows! We hear horror stories every day about homeowners being ripped off by a unscrupulous contractors.
The first thing I noticed about the other Homeowner/Contractor sites is that contractors are allowed to sign up without any vetting or reviews. As a result, clients are often connected with unknown and unreliable contractors. The difference between us and other sites is that we actually KNOW the contractors we represent. We have carefully HAND-PICKED, DOXXED and INVESTIGATED every one of our contractors and consider them to be some of the best in the area!
Our business model is based on relationships, not algorithms.
